PURPOSE:To facilitate the control of a feeding speed by supplying a synchronizing pulse from an external part through a switching circuit to an interpolating circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a switching circuit 3 of a control part responds to the operation of a synchronizing changeover switch 5 and selects an internal synchronizing pulse generating circuit 2, a numerical controller is set to an automatic operation mode, and the synchronizing pulse supplied from the internal synchronizing pulse generating circuit 2 is supplied through the switching circuit 3 to an interpolating circuit 4. The interpolating exercises are executed and based on the results, a distributing pulse supplied to respective axes of the numerical controller is formed and supplied. On the other hand, when the switching circuit 3 responds to the operation of the above-mentioned switch 5 and selects an external manual pulse generating device 1, the numerical controller comes to be the manual operation mode and is supplied to the interpolating circuit 4. Consequently, when an operator adjusts only the pulse generating speed of the manual pulse generating device 1, the distributing speed of respective axes can be controlled.
