PURPOSE:To provide a composition containing a rust-proofing paint composed of an epoxy polymer, its hardener, aluminum orthophosphate and a zinc compound, having excellent rust-proofing property and adhesivity and useful as an adhesive for the hemming of automobile door and bonnet, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition contains (A) an epoxy polymer (preferably a glycidyl-ether epoxy polymer having an epoxy equivalent of 150-300), (B) its hardener (e.g. dicyandiamide) and (C) a rust-proofing paint composed of aluminum orthophosphate and a zinc compound (preferably zinc oxide). Preferably, the content of the aluminum orthophosphate in the rust-proofing paint is >=50% and the weight loss is <=0.5% after heating at 200 deg.C for 2hr.
