PURPOSE:To obtain a water repellent resistant to oil film formation, capable of readily eliminating said film even if formed, by making an alcoholic solution of fluorochemical compatible with silicone oil and chalcogen oil, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective water repellent can be obtained by making (A) a solution prepared by dissolving an organic fluorine compound such as high- boiling tetrachlorodifluoroethane in an alcohol such as isopropanol or ethanol compatible with (B) (i) silicone oil and (ii) a chalcogen compound such as sulfuric acid or selenic acid (salt) and/or phosphorus compound such as phosphoric acid (salt). Part of the above-mentioned alcohol may be replaced by toluene or xylene.
