PURPOSE:To listen to a required sound other than noise even when the headphone is worn to shut off from external ambient sound by providing a noise cut control means excluding a reference input signal component representing noise received from a reference input microphone in advance from the external ambient noise signal inputted from a major microphone and outputting the result from a speaker. CONSTITUTION:Only a prescribed desired noise to be eliminated is given to a noise cut control means 40 by a reference input microphone 20 at first. In loading the headphone, the carrier is brought in the state that it is shut off from the external ambient noise including the noise entirely. In applying noise cut control by a noise cut control means 40, the reference input signal component being the noise is excluded from the external ambient noise signal inputted to the noise cut control means 40 by the major input microphone, and the output signal representing the remaining sound is outputted to the speaker of the headphone. Thus, the carrier is shut off from the external ambient noise by the headphone and the sound eliminating the noise from the external ambient noise can be listened in from the headphone speaker. |
