The invention relates to a device for encouraging road users to respect the speed limit operating according to the principle of a hydrostatic pump actuated by the tyres of the vehicles. If the speed is less than the limit, the liquid contained in the cells 7 is discharged through the lateral valves 4 and the vehicle will not be subjected to a jolt when leaving the device. If the speed exceeds the limit, the valves 4 suddenly close and the liquid advances in front of the tyre in question from cell to cell through the valves 5, to build up in the last cell thus forming a hindering obstacle for the offending user. <IMAGE> |
