PURPOSE:To enable simple and accurate measurement of the amount of hot water supplied to a bath, by dumping hot water into the bath based on an output signal of a float switch each time fully pooled in a cistern to detect the frequency of dumping. CONSTITUTION:A cistern 6 has a float 6d moving vertically mounted on a regulation rod 6c erected on the bottom 6b thereof and conductor plates 6e and 6f provided on the upper and lower surfaces thereof. On the other hand, release contacts 6g and 6h are provided on the inner wall side of the cistern 6 in such manner as to contact the conductor plates 6e and 6f when the float 6d reaches upper and lower end positions to form float switches 6i and 6j, which detect the float 6d reaching the upper and lower ends. A controller is so arranged that a pump is driven on an output signal of the switch 6i to dump hot water in the cistern 6 into the bath and stopped by an output signal of the switch 6j, while hot water is pooled in the cistern 6. As the amount of hot water is constant for one such an action, the amount of hot water into the bath can be detected by counting the frequency of the action with the controller.
