PURPOSE:To prevent the increase in the mud-raking length caused by the change of running speed of a transplantation machine, by providing a position-changing means to change the position of a transplantation tool relative to a transplantation case in each rotational phase of the transplantation case. CONSTITUTION:A gear pair 16 is slid and operated by an operation part 8 to separate the 1st gear 16a of a gear pair 16 from the 1st gears 14a, 15a of a swinging shaft 15 and a stationary shaft 13 and to engage the 2nd gear 16b of a gear pair 16 with the 2nd gears 14b, 15b of the swinging shaft 15 and a stationary shaft 11. The position of transplantation tools 3A, 3B relative to a transplantation case 2 in each rotational phase of the transplantation case 2, i.e. the passing orbits of the transplantation tools 3A, 3B can be varied by this operation.
