PURPOSE:To make a lot of parts easily feedable by automatically controlling a kitting cell, having plural types of parts kitted, and an assembling cell for plural pieces of parts. CONSTITUTION:When an empty kit pallet 9 arrives at the specified position on a conveyor 12 of a kitting cell 2, a travel robot 11 is moved up to each nearby spot of exclusive pallets 5a-5d and feeders 7a and 7b. And each part positioned for feed by respective parts feeders is gripped by a hand 10, thus kitting operations on the kit pallet 9 are carried out in consecutive order. And, the kit pallet 9 is placed on a neighboring position of an assembling cell 3a by the conveyor 12, and pick-and-place work is carried out by the assembling cell 3a, then it is assembled to a semimanufacture. And, it is conveyed to the assembling cell 3b and assembled to a finished product. Then, the product is put back to the kit pallet 9 and transferred onto an exclusive pallet 5e as storage use.
