The grinding machine is used to deburr and regrind flat metal parts, such as punched sheets, and has a machine stand 1, on which a grinding tool 9 is arranged on a height adjustment device. Situated below the grinding tool 9 is a conveyor belt 30 provided with holes 33, a vacuum suction installation being provided in the region of the conveyor belt 30 and the grinding tool 9. The vacuum suction installation has a supporting table 18 with holes 19 facing the conveyor belt 30, this supporting table being subdivided into two chambers 22, 23 by a dividing wall 21 arranged transversely to the running direction 34 of the conveyor belt 30. The supporting table 18 and hence also the chambers 22, 23 are displaceable in or counter to the running direction 34 of the conveyor belt 30 below the grinding tool 9, each chamber 22, 23 being assigned its own fan. <IMAGE>
