<p>PURPOSE:To improve the detecting accuracy of a coordinate input device by securing a contact between a protruded part of a vibration transmitting plate and the detecting surface of a vibration sensor. CONSTITUTION:An information input/output device performs the input of coordinates to an input tablet consisting of a vibration transmitting plate 8 via a vibration pen 3 and displays the input coordinates on a display device 11 containing a CRT and an LCD put on the input tablet based on the corresponding information. The plate 8 transmits the vibrations of the pen 3 to three vibration sensors 6 set at the corner parts of the plate 8. In this case, a projection 101 formed in a body with the main body of the plate 8 is set at each of the three corners of the plate 8. Then the sensor 6 is pressed to the tip of the projection 101. This projection is formed preferably into a cone and at the same time a reflection preventing material 7 is added to the peripheral part of the plate 8. Thus it is possible to decide accurately the position of the sensor 6 on the plate 8 which serves an original point for detection of the coordinates.</p> |
