<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a breakdown against static electricity at the time of handling panel assembling or the like, by short-circuiting electrically in parallel each of a line electrode line and a row electrode line, simultaneously with the formation of each electrode line of an array substrate or after the array substrate is completed. CONSTITUTION:When an array substrate is being manufactured or after its manufacture is ended, with respect to one or both of a row electrode line or a line electrode line, as for rows and lines of every positive integer pieces, each row and each line are short-circuited electrically in parallel, respectively, and thereafter, after a liquid crystal is inserted and held, the electrical short circuit is detached. That is, one piece each is short-circuited in parallel, and a line electrode line group which is short-circuited electrically of m1 pieces and m2 pieces, and a row electrode line group which is short-circuited electrically of n1 and n2 pieces are formed. When the intrinsic capacities per one piece of each of the line electrode line and the row electrode line are denoted as Ca and Cb, respectively, the capacities of those which are short-circuited by each of A1, A2 of the line electrode line group are m1Ca and m2Ca, those of the row electrode line group are n1Cb, n2Cb, and are capacities of m1, m2, n1 and n2 times as large as the case of one piece. In such a way, by allowing the electrode line group to have a large capacity, the influence by static electricity is reduced, and it is reduced that the array substrate is broken down due to static electricity.</p> |
