PURPOSE:To enable easy quick exchange of a production apparatus to a state for producing a glass gob having different weight, to prevent the deterioration of a nozzle over a long period and to obtain a glass product having high quality, by detachably attaching a nozzle tip to a nozzle main body of a glass gob production apparatus e.g. with a screw. CONSTITUTION:Molten glass 2 in a crucible 1 is passed through a nozzle 4 in molten state heated with heaters 6a-6e and a glass drop 7 is dropped from the tip end 5 of the nozzle until the surface of the drop is cooled and solidified to form a glass gob. In the above liquid-drop glass gob production apparatus, the nozzle tip end 5 is formed to have e.g. the following structure. The machined part 10 of the nozzle main body 4 is formed of a male screw nozzle or female screw nozzle 10 and a detachable female or male screw nozzle tip 9 engaging with the nozzle 10 or formed of a male screw nozzle 100 and a detachable nozzle tip 13 having a flange 12 which can be fitted to the machined nozzle part 10 with a box nut 14 having a female screw.
