<p>A tool cooling device for machine tools has a distributing unit (7) provided by a fixed shaft having an axial hole (6) communicated with a source of cooling fluid. A series of passages are arranged at predetermined spaces to communicate the axial hole with the outer surface of the shaft. Annular members (7a,7b,7c) are rotatably mounted on the outer surface of the fixed shaft. Each annular member is connected with a pipe to one of a series of tools (3a,3b,3c) to be cooled, which are accomodated at suitable spaces within a tool magazine (1). A cooling fluid is supplied to the tool by way of the axial hole formed through the fixed shaft.</p> |
