PURPOSE:To attain the illumination of high efficiency without making a device larger by using a reflection mirror means and projecting a direct projection light to the end part of an illumination area. CONSTITUTION:The reflection mirror means 2 and 3 are provided, which are constituted to make the luminous flux from a lamp light emission point on both end part sides in long- hand of a multi-point light emission tubular lamp 1 as a light source reach a member plane 0 to be illuminated as the direct projection light and make the luminous flux from other lamp light emission points reflected a reflecting member plane and reach the member plane 0 to be illuminated so as to illuminate the member plane 0 to be illuminated in a line. Namely, as for the distribution of light emission quantity along the long-hand of the lamp 1, the light emission quantity concerning the light emission point on both end part sides in long-hand of the lamp is set small and the light emission quantity concerning other light emission points are distributively set large by the quantity of setting the above-mentioned quantity small. The luminous flux from the lamp light emission point on both end part sides in long- hand of the lamp reaches the member plane to be illuminated as a direction projection light and the luminous flux from other lamp light emission points reaches the member plane to be illuminated through a reflecting member. Therefore, the distribution of same light quantity and high efficiency in illumination can be obtained all over the necessary illumination area in a lamp power consumption in which the illumination in line of the member plane to be illuminated is equal to usual one.
