<p>PURPOSE:To decide the starting point of abnormality in collection data by allowing an internal timer in a CPU to monitor the operation of an interval timer, to immediately detect the abnormality of the interval timer and to output an abnormal signal to the external. CONSTITUTION:When the interval timer 1 outputs an interval interruption signal INS to an internal interruption input part 3 at a prescribed time period to interrupt the CPU 5, the internal timer in the CPU 5 is also set up by the signal INS, and when the signal INS disappears, the internal timer is set up to the normal state again. During the normal operation of the timer 1 and the output of the signal INS at the prescribed period, said operation is repeated. When the operation of the timer 1 is turned to an abnormal state and the period of the signal INS is turned to another value, the internal timer is not set up within the prescribed time, and after the passage of the setting time, time-out is generated, so that the generation of abnormality in the timer 1 is decided and the abnormality is displayed or outputted to the external.</p> |
