PURPOSE:To obtain an encapsulated toner good in fixability without polluting devices in developing and transferring steps by incorporating acidic carbon black in a colorant. CONSTITUTION:The encapsulated toner is obtained by sealing core particles containing the polymer, the organic solvent, and the colorant comprising at least the acidic carbon with the outer resin shells, thus permitting the obtained toner to be made high in breaking strength in the case of extremely low pressure but liable to break in the case of comparatively high pressure, and accordingly, improved in fixability without polluting the devices in the developing and transferring steps, good in powder characteristics due to superior encapsulability, and also superior in storage stability, electric chargeability, and offset resistance. |
