The invention relates to the conversion of public transport and communication tickets into a medium for a novel advertising space. The transport tickets are: tickets issued by RATP-SNCF, and in use in the METRO-BUS-RER-TGV TRAINS and by AIR FRANCE and AIR INTER for AIRPORT STATION-AIRPORT Shuttles. The communication tickets are PHONECARDS issued by the PTTs and in use in public telephone kiosks. The conversion of these tickets consists in transferring all the printed data serving for identification and for the operation of the ticket onto only one face called RECTO and thus freeing the other face called VERSO in order to express an advertising message thereon. By extension we may carry out the same conversion on all transport and communication tickets already mentioned. The introduction of advertising on these tickets is likely to provide an additional source of profit for the issuing organisations and to considerably improve their brand image. <IMAGE>
