A description is given of a storm bar (14) for a hood (12) of a pram/push-chair, which has two bar elements (16, 18) and a connecting spindle (20) connecting the bar elements (16, 18) to each other. The two bar elements (16, 18) can be pivoted around this connecting spindle (20). The storm bar (14) has a housing with a housing lower part (26) and a cover (42), one bar element (16) being fastened by its joint-side end section (22) in the housing lower part (26) which is designed with an arcuate element (28) arranged concentrically to the connecting spindle (20). The arcuate element (28) is of resilient design with latching recesses (30) which are arranged concentrically to the connecting spindle (20). The second bar element (18) projects by its joint-side end section (32) into one of the latching recesses (30). The housing (26, 42) covers the joint-side end sections (22, 32) of the two bar elements (16, 18) in every angular position thereof so that the risk of injury by the bar elements (16, 18) is ruled out. <IMAGE>
