PURPOSE:To obtain a correct signal corresponding to a displacement force of an elastic body with a simple construction, by arranging a product between a transmission matrix of a Wheatstone bridge circuit and a gain matrix of an amplifier to give a generalized inverse matrix of a compliance matrix. CONSTITUTION:An elastic body formed in a symmetric construction is provided with a plurality of strain detection means g1-g24, which compose Wheatstone bridges WS1-WS6. Amplifiers Z1-Z6 are connected to the Wheatstone bridges WS1-WS6. The shape of the elastic body, the positions of the strain detection means g1-g24 and amplification factors of the amplifiers Z1-Z6 are so set that a product between a transmission matrix of the Wheatstone bridges WS1-WS6 and a gain matrix of the amplifiers Z1-Z6 gives a generalized inverse matrix of a compliance matrix which determines a relationship between a displacement force working on the elastic body and a strain.
