The invention described in the main patent application relates to a process for the regeneration of a catalyst for hydroconversion of hydrocarbons. This addition relates more particularly to the application of this process to the regeneration of a platinum-tin catalyst. According to a preferred method the reforming reaction is performed on at least one stationary bed of a platinum-rhenium catalyst and then on a movable bed of a platinum-tin catalyst which will then be regenerated in accordance with the process of the main patent application.
