PURPOSE:To increase the number of continuous copies with small size by controlling respective heaters so as to change the ON/OFF states and duty ratios of respective heaters based on the surface temp. state of a fixing roll and supplying the electric power of a paper non-feeding part to a paper feeding part. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is provided with a 1st heater 4 arranged in the paper feeding width area of a small-size sheet 3 in a fixing roll 2, 2nd heaters 6a, 6b arranged on the difference parts between the paper feeding width areas of a small-size sheet 3 and a large size sheet 5 and a temp. detecting means 7, 8 for detecting respective rollers surface temperatures of the setting parts of the 1st and 2nd heaters 4, 6a. When the roller surface temp. of the setting part of the 2nd heater 6a is more than that of the 1st heater 4, current supply to the 2nd heaters 2a, 2b is interrupted and current to be supplied to the 1st heater 4 is increased by a control means.
