PURPOSE:To drastically shorten the teaching work time of a borderline and to improve the accurately by storing the borderline detecting signal obtd. by moving an optical detection means by the specified command by reading it as the coordinate positional data for teaching of a working machine. CONSTITUTION:The laser light Lk emitted from a small sized laser oscillator 40 is radiated on a work W and this reflection light is received to a boundary sensor S via the light receiving element 41 fitted to a work tool fitting part 19. The signal corresponding to the output of a sensor controller 50 and the position of the encoder fitted to each axis are read and stored in a memory 22. With this composition, the working time is shortened and the accuracy can be improved.
