PURPOSE:To simply attain transmission/reception by adding a prescribed data to a transmission data, forming a text without duplicated part with a control code, sending the result, subtracting a partial data from the text received at the reception side so as to extract the transmission data. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 1, in the transmission mode, adds a prescribed data OFF to a transmission data DAT stored in a memory 2 to form a text TEXT, and adds so-called start of text STX, end of text ETX and block check character BCC to the text TEXT and sends the result via an input/output interface circuit 3. Moreover, the microcomputer 1, in its reception mode, eliminates the start of text STX, end of text TXT and block check character BCC to extract the text TEXT, subtracts the prescribed data OFF from the text TEXT to extract a transmission data DAT and to store the result in the memory 2.
