PURPOSE:To eliminate parallax by employing a common reflection optical system for a light convergence system for heat infrared rays and visible light. CONSTITUTION:A Cassegrain light convergence system which consists of a 1st light converging curved surface mirror 1 and a 2nd light converging curved surface mirror 2 is used. When a chopper is open, incident light enters a visible image forming lens group 5 to form a visible image on a visible image pickup plate 6. Further, when the chopper is closed, on the other hand, the light changes its direction by 90 deg. through a reflection and enters a heat infrared light image forming lens group 3 to form a heat infrared light image. A on-off switching time is shorter and shorter preferably as the number of combinations of on and off states of a rotary reflecting mirror 7 is smaller and smaller, but at least two combinations are employed and symmetry about the center of rotation is preferable.
