PURPOSE:To obtain a stable and sharp image at a low fixing temp. by making combination use of electric charge control agents having different charge control effects. CONSTITUTION:A toner consisting of carboxylic acid as its main binder contains the 1st charge control agent alpha having the strong charge control effect and the 2nd charge control agent beta having the polarity reverse from the polarity of the charge control agent alpha or the charge control effect weaker than the charge control effect of the charge control agent alpha. Both the charge control agent alpha and the charge control agent beta have a crosslinking effect on the main binder and the gel content of the toner contg. the charge control agent alpha and the charge control agent beta is 10-70%; in addition, the value of the equation I is in a 1.5-6 range and the toner is electrostatically charged to the charge control agent alpha side. The fixability and offset resistance of the toner are thereby improved. |
