PURPOSE:To simply obtain a rule having objectivity by analyzing an operator operation data which becomes an object, by using a quantitative theory II class, unifying its result and setting it as a rule for controlling a plant operation, in a control use expert system. CONSTITUTION:A sample is generated from an operation data obtained by a collection 11 of the operation data and a boundary value is set to each item by data working 12, and several categories are generated. Subsequently, the sample is divided into several groups in accordance with a kind of an operator operation, and a worked data 22 is generated from an original data 21. Thereafter, an analysis 13 by a quantitative theory II class is executed to this data 22, and by taking notice of a sample score in a result 23 of analysis, and from a calculation 14 of a branch point by a mini-max method, a branch point which becomes a reference of grouping is calculated. Thereafter, a check 15 of a result of analysis is executed, and if there is a problem, the working 12 is executed again, and if there is no problem, a generation 16 of a rule is executed, and subsequently, a check 17 on a production line is executed.
