PURPOSE:To suppress the foaming of an aqueous resin dispersion obtained when surfactant is used as an emulsifier and to improve a film forming property, by preparing a reactive surfactant from a polymerizable unsaturated group- containing compound represented by a specific general formula. CONSTITUTION:A polymerizable unsaturated group-containing compound represented by formula I [wherein R1 is a 6-18C alkyl group, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 are hydrogen, a methyl group, a carboxymethyl group or a carboxyl group, X is hydrogen, an ammonium group, an amine base, an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal, Y is a hydrocarbon group having a polymerizable unsaturated group, Z is a nitrile group, a phenyl group, an amide group or an alkyl carboxylate group, (a) is an integer of 1-500, (b) is an integer of 1-100 and (c) is 0 or an integer of 1-250] is used as a reactive surfactant.
