PURPOSE:To correct the light quantity without using a CPU, etc., by making one of a pair of deflecting mirrors for reflecting a laser beam different by a coating processing, etc., at the time of forming an electrostatic latent image by radiating the laser beam to a photosensitive layer provided on the surface of a photosensitive drum. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer provided on the surface of a photosensitive drum 1 is electrified uniformly by an electrifier 6 and an electrostatic latent image is formed by radiating a laser beam 2, and a red image is reproduced by a developing device 4 containing a red non-magnetic developer. Subsequently, said layer is electrified uniformly again by an electrifier 7 and a irradiated by a laser beam 3 at the same timing as the red image, a generated latent image is brought to a black image by a developing device 5 containing a black magnetic developer and reproduced, thereafter, a multicolor image is transferred to a recording material by using a transfer electrifier 8 as usual. In this constitution, laser beams from semiconductor lasers 15, 16 are reflected by a polygon mirror 14, and irradiates the photosensitive drum 1 as the beams 2, 3, varying reflection factors of a pair of reflecting mirrors 17, 18 from each other in advance.
