The invention relates to a rim 25 intended to allow correcting lenses 18 to be fitted, in a removable manner in a spectacles frame which includes a face made of elastomeric material and consisting of two surrounds 12 which are joined by a bridge. The surround 12 includes a bezel 19 in the form of a rectangular groove between two, front 20 and rear 21, lips. The rim 25 is made of an elastic material and has an external periphery 25b which fits into the bezel 19 and an internal periphery 25a having a Vee-shaped cross-section where the bevel of the edge of the lens 18 is set in. The lens 18 may thus have an edge of variable thickness, like conventional correcting lenses, and the lens 18-rim 25 assembly may be inserted reliably into the deep bezel 19, while still remaining removable. <IMAGE>
