SYSTEM FOR DIAGNOSING CONVERSION INDEX BUFFER MECHANISM

PURPOSE:To simplify the diagnosing system and to confirm that other attributes are registered correctly by reading the content of a conversion index buffer mechanism to a main storage device and comparing it with an expected value directly. CONSTITUTION:The titled system is provided with a transfer means 6 transferring the content of an address conversion table 4 stored by the conversion index buffer mechanism 2 to a main storage device and a comparison means 7 comparing the content transferred to the main storage device by the transfer means with the expected value representing the normality of the content of the conversion index buffer device prepared in advance. Thus, the diagnosis of the conversion index buffer device is simplified and whether or not the other information to be registered in the address conversion table is registered normally is confirmed.
