PURPOSE:To improve the contact stability and travelling performance with a disk by symmetrically arranging slider parts in plural couples with the specified line intersecting at right angles with the radial direction of the disk as a symmetrical axis, and reducing the area of the tip face of a main magnetic pole part more than the area of a slider part. CONSTITUTION:Two couples of slider parts 13A1, 13A2, 13B1, 13B2 are provided at a linear symmetrical position on the opposing face of a magnetic head part 11 with the center line (a) of this opposing face as the axis and the center line (a) is set so as to be coincident with the direction orthogonal with the radial direction of the disk. The main magnetic pole part 116 smaller than the area of the tip face of the slider parts 13A1, 13A2, 13B1, 13B2 is also formed independently on the opposing face. The adhesion is thus increased with uniform contact and the travelling performance of the disk is improved.
