PURPOSE:To surely preserve newly gathered picture data by providing a means which displays a warning message of a forecasted term which data exceeds the capacity of a picture data storage means at the expiration of, a forecasted date when data exceeds this capacity, or the like. CONSTITUTION:The forecasted term which picture data exceeds the capacity of a picture file 1 at the expiration of or the forecasted date when data exceeds this capacity is calculated by a control part 4 based on relations between the capacity of the picture file 1 and a forecasted quantity of daily generated picture data stored in the picture file 1 in a certain period, for example, in a day or a week. The calculated forecasted term or/and the calculated forecasted date are displayed as the warning message on the CRT display device of a terminal equipment 5 to always confirm the state of contents of the capacity of the picture file 1. |
