PURPOSE:To obtain a molded item, in which filler is uniformly dispersed and mixed, by a method wherein reinforcing material, which is formed by adhering hollow glass microspheres to the surface of filler, is produced so as to be mixed in advance in at least one of starting liquids. CONSTITUTION:Hollow glass microspheres, which are used as filling material in resin molding, are adhered to the surface of filler by using a proper adhesive. The hollow glass microspheres adhered to the surface of the filler gives buoyancy to the filler when the filler is mixed with the starting liquid, resulting in acting to make the specific gravity of reinforcing material consisting of fillers and hollow glass microspheres smaller. In this case, since the amount of hollow glass microspheres adhered to the surface of the filler can be freely controlled, said amount is set in accordance with the specific gravity of reinforcing material, the specific gravity of filler itself, the specific gravity and viscosity of the starting resin liquid used, and the reaction and curing times of the starting liquid or the like so as to be able to keep the reinforcing material in the state uniformly dispersed in the starting liquid after the starting liquid is poured into a mold. Through the reaction and curing of the starting liquid under the state just mentioned above, a molded item, in which filler or reinforcing material is uniformly dispersed and mixed, is obtained. |
