The invention relates to a power-driven brush for body care, for cleaning fingernails and toenails in the area of the nail bed. The power-driven brush is accommodated in a watertight housing so that use under water, e.g. in a wash basin or bath tub, is possible without risk. The particular, advantageous design of the brush with bristles disposed so as to converge towards the circumference guarantees easy cleaning of very dirty hands, in particular of the nail bed. The particles of dirt which have penetrated at this point and can otherwise only be removed using strong washing agents can be removed without effort using the brush according to the invention and dispensing with cleaning agents which pollute the environment.
