The circular saw contains a saw blade (1), on the periphery of which grooves (2) with guides (3) are made on a circular arc which exceeds an angle of 180@. Inserted teeth (4) are arranged and held in place in the guides (3). The inserted teeth (4) have a profiled inside (10) and a profiled outside (7). The opposed teeth (4) bear with the profiled outsides (7) over the entire periphery of the guides (3) against the saw blade (1). The inside (10) of the profile of the inserted teeth (4) is arranged for the mounting of the latter in the guides (3) of the grooves (2) as well as for the chip breaking and removal. <IMAGE>
