PURPOSE:To obtain high temperature mixing liquid, in a mixing valve device for mixing steam and cold liquid to produce mixing liquid having predetermined temperature, by providing a throttle valve for restricting opening area of a cold liquid hole gradually when a steam inlet valve opens fully. CONSTITUTION:A steam inlet valve V1 is arranged at a steam inlet 2. A differential pressure mechanism V2 for leading cold liquid into a mixing chamber 4 and producing differential pressure between a cold liquid inlet 3 and the mixing chamber 4 is provided. Furthermore, an open-valve mechanism M having a pressure sensitive chamber 6 for forcibly opening the steam inlet valve V1 and a pressure sensitive moving chip 7 movable in proportion to the pressure is provided. A throttle valve body 8 for restricting the opening area of the cold liquid port 4a gradually after the steam inlet valve V1 is fully opened by means of the moving chip 7 is provided to the moving chip 7. Consequently, even when a valve in the downstream of the mixing chamber 4 is fully opened to increase mixing liquid flow and the temperature is set at a high level, the throttle valve 8 is restricted to produce high temperature mixing liquid.
