PURPOSE:To easily obtain low temp. blast at low cost by sending hot blast from fixed number of hot blast stoves in accordance with the blast temp. setting value, further adjusting mixing ratio of cold blast sent from the excess stoves and mixing. CONSTITUTION:In the plural hot blast stoves 1A-1D, the openings of butterfly valves 4C, 4D are adjusted by a computing element 5 so that blast temp. becomes constant by thermometer 3, and the prescribed quantity of the air is supplied from a blower 2 to generate the hot blast. Then, in case the hot blast stove 1A is excess state and the hot blast stove 1B is under combustion stage, the desired temp. of the above hot blast is low and at the time of being fear of breakage because of showing about 400 deg.C by a thermometer 8 at lower part of silica brick part in a regenerator 6, the blasts to the hot blast stoves 1C, 1D are reduced to contrive rise of the temp. Together with this, a butterfly valve 4A in the excess stove 1A is opened by a computing element 9 and the cold blast is sent through the excess stove 1A, to mix with the hot blast, and temp. of the hot blast supplied to the blast furnace is adjusted, to keep it con stant.
