PURPOSE:To perform the sure welding without a bulge of a resin laminated metal plate by providing an outside short-circuit at the position separated by the specified distance from a weld zone in the case of holding the resin laminated metal plate and a different metal member between electrodes to perform the spot welding. CONSTITUTION:The outside short-circuit is provided at the peripheral position separated by >=30 mm from the weld zone and the voltage between the electrodes is made to <=2V and a current is made to >=2000A and a value lower than a regular welding current and a resin layer of the metal plate located at the weld zone is molten and eliminated. Then, an elimination finishing point of the resin layer is detected by the change of the voltage and current and the current value is increased to a regular welding value to perform the welding. By this method, there is no anxiety for the bulge of the metal plate accompanied by the heating of the resin layer around the weld zone and even if the metallic foreign matter is mixed in the resin, the sure welding can be smoothly performed without a pinhole. |
