PURPOSE:To previously prevent an accident from occurring in case of earthquake occurrence by fitting an earthquake sensor on a bridge and also providing a signal, plural variable indicators, a speed detector, and a display device successively in the arrival direction of vehicle from in front of the bridge. CONSTITUTION:The signal 5 illuminates in blue at all times unless an earthquake takes place and the indicators 7 and 8 indicate the maximum speed (e.g. 50km/h) of the road. Then when earthquake motion occurs to make the earthquake sensor 3 send a sense signal to a controller 4 and its intensity is larger than specified, the controlled 4 outputs a control signal 10b to display the earthquake occurrence and speed reduction on the display device 20, and turns the signal 5 to red. Then the indicators 7 and 8 are controlled according to the output of a speed detector S to indicate, for example, 20km/h and 30km/h respectively. Further, the blinking signal generation part F in the control part 4 blinks the display of the display device 20 and the indications of the indicators and the traveling of vehicles is controlled through the display and indications, thereby previously preventing an accident from occurring.
