PURPOSE:To damp a pulsation propagated in fuel to prevent unpleasant noise by providing an annular groove in a rubber-mount. CONSTITUTION:While the pump runs, a pulsation is generated by the rotation of an impeller 20. The pulsation propagated to a discharge side is absorbed and damped by a fuel hose and fuel filter. On the other hand, the pulsation propagated to an inlet side propagates through an inlet port 17, a fuel-passage 119B of an end-cover 119, and an inlet port 119A reaches a terminal 123E of an annular groove 123D in a rubber-mount 123, and propagates to a puddle 123D after passing through the annular groove 123D. However, since the rubbermount 123 is made of elastic material such as rubber, etc., the pulsation is absorbed and damped while propagating through the annular groove 123D. As a result, the pulsation passes through a filter 24, and is not propagated to fuel in a fuel tank, and thus, no resonance is generated.
