PURPOSE:To arrange commodities within a short time by providing the titled system with respective functions for the analysis of individual rack sales record, sales analysis of commodities, the determination of the optimum number of layouts, the automatic determination of commodity arrangement, and conversational correction of commodity arrangement. CONSTITUTION:Individual rack sales record analysis 5 is executed by outputting individual-rack sales records to a terminal 2 through a machine interface 3 on the basis of respective file information of a floor layout 4, individual-rack and individual-commodity sales records 6 and individual-rack commodity arrangement 7. Commodity sales analysis 8 is executed by displaying commodity arrangement and individual-commodity sales amount on the terminal 2 on the basis of information in a commodity arrangement table 11 and an individual- commodity sales table 9. Optimum layout number determination 12 is executed by determining the optimum number of layouts on the basis of the information in the tables 9, 11 and outputting the determined result to the terminal 2. Automatic commodity arrangement determination 13 is executed by determining commodity arrangement on the basis of knowledge in a knowledge base 14 and the information in the table 11. Commodity arrangement conversational correction 10 supports the designer's 1 correction of automatically determined commodity arrangement. Thus, commodity arrangement can be executed within a short time. |
