The invention consists essentially of two aerofoil profiles (1) which project perpendicularly and have a profile cross-section which extends approximately in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The aerofoil profiles (1) are arranged on the floor structure (3). An essentially horizontal surface area (5) of the floor structure (3) adjoins the suction side (4) of the aerofoil profiles (1) laterally. In addition, at the lower end of the aerofoil profiles (1) horizontal profile end plates (7) are arranged on the pressure sides of the said profiles (1). The device permits forces which are very effective aerodynamically with respect to the plane of the roadway and reduce lift or increase negative lift to be produced. <IMAGE>
