PURPOSE:To obtain colored fine resin particles, useful as cosmetics, coatings, etc., by supporting a coloring matter having a benzopyrylium skeleton on surfaces of fine resin particles, having a specific particle diameter and acidic ionic groups and consisting of a polymer of a polymerizable ethylenically unsaturated monomer. CONSTITUTION:The aimed colored fine resin particles obtained by blending an aqueous dispersion of fine resin particles, consisting of a polymer of a polymerizable ethylenically unsaturated monomer and having 0.01-10mu particle diameter and acidic ionic groups (e.g. carboxyl group, sulfone group or aminoalkylsulfonic acid) with an aqueous solution of a coloring matter having a benzopyrylium skeleton (e.g. pelargonidin based pigment) and isolating particles. |
