BOILER SYSTEM

A boiler unit is described in which a premixed flame burner is water-cooled by a heat exchanger fabricated as a single unit with the burner. The heat exchanger/burner unit comprises a matrix of passageways defined e.g. by fins or corrugated metal, the fuel/air mixture burning at the downstream side of the matrix and the boiler water being circulated through the matrix.
