PURPOSE:To eliminate the complexity of wiring, to hold performance fluctuation between elements due to an unbalanced voltage and the like and to improve production halt by supplying a bias current to the Hall elements, processing a Hall output signal and a head input signal and executing a switching operation in an integrated circuit integrated with a head. CONSTITUTION:The integrated circuit 10 integrated with the magnetic head 1 in which the Hall element is used can control the supply of the bias current to the Hall element 5 and the processing of the Hall output signal at the time of signal reproduction and the processing of an input signal current for a coil at the time of signal recording. Namely, complicated wiring of the bias current and the like necessary for using the Hall element are all executed in a patterning procedure by photolithography, and errors in a production procedure are eliminated.
