<p>PURPOSE:To approximately equalize the min. width of a VTR to the min. width of a video cassette by equalizing approximately the width of a main chassis to the min. width of the video cassette and setting up in a line a rotary head drum, a supply reel and a take-up reel in the lengthwise direction of the main chassis when a slide chassis is closed. CONSTITUTION:The titled recorder has an approximately equivalent width W1 to the min. width W2 of the video cassette 14, and is arranged with the main chassis 10 to be disposed with the rotary head drum 16 and moving members 24, 26 and 28 for winding a video tape 36 to the rotary head drum 16, and equipped with the slide chassis 12 which is in approximately the same size as the video cassette 14, and disposed with the supply reel 50 and take-up reel 52, and also openable and closible to the main chassis 10 by moving in parallel to this chassis, whereas the rotary head drum 16 is disposed by lining up in the widthwise direction the rotary head drum 16, supply reel 50 and take-up reel 52 when the slide chassis 12 is closed. By this method, the min. width of the VTR can thus be reduced down to approximately the same size as the min. width W2 of the video cassette 14.</p> |
