The invention relates to a removable and transportable device allowing a passenger in a transport vehicle to lay down his/her head in order to rest or to sleep. It consists of a cushion/pillow I made up of two flexible sheets, for example made of plastic, which are cut out and joined together by welding or some other means giving the same result, and which trap between them a filling element such as air, foam or other substances having the same filling effect, and comprises a central recess 2 improving the comfort in the region of the contact of the ear of the user and one or more eyelets 3 intended to receive an accessory 7 for fastening the said cushion/pillow I to the side window or to some other part of the transport means. A protective cover 6, which is made of fabric which is washable for elementary hygiene, surrounding the said cushion/pillow I provides the user with the comfort of contact with fabric. In the inflatable version, the said cushion/pillow I is provided with an inflation fitting 4 which may or may not be retractable inside the cushion/pillow I. <IMAGE>
