The invention relates to a data processing desk, comprising a desk top (1, 2, 11, 12) whose front edge is provided with a recess (5) for a keyboard unit. The desk top is provided with a glass-covered opening (4) and below the desk top level there are means for suspending a monitor in an inclined position below opening (4). A top plate (7) covering said recess (5) is adapted to be shifted between a recess-covering position and a shifted position between monitor and recess. Said monitor opening (4) with its flanges (11, 12), a keyboard unit supporting level (6) and said shiftable top plate (7) make up a module (3), which is structurally separate from the remainder of the desk and which can be fitted between two rectangular desk top members (1, 2). |
