PURPOSE:To make a reproducing time for confirmation unnecessary with an one-beam laser recorder which performs erasing or recording on a recording medium in accordance synchronizing signals, by causing confirmation of erasing and recording to be made by giving reproducing pulses with the time of one cycle of signals which are delayed by a prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:Pulse signals for writing from a recording pulse forming circuit 3 are inputted to a confirmation reproducing pulse forming circuit 6 and pulse signals for readout outputted from the circuit 6 are outputted to an output terminal 7, from which the pulse signals are inputted to a laser device, through an OR circuit 5. When the pulse signals for readout are synchronizing signal generating circuit 2 are supplied to the laser device at every cycle as pulse signals for writing and projected on an optical disk which is not shown in the figure. At a light receiving section 8 composed of a photosensor, recording signals are read out and supplied to a multiplexer 10 through an amplifier 9 and, simultaneously, the multiplexer 10 through a delay line 11 and recording is confirmed.
