PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition with improved crystallization rate and excellent humid heat stability by adding specific aromatic compound and an epoxy resin to a polyethylene terephthalate resin at a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:The subject composition is obtained by adding (A) 0.1-3wt.%, preferably 0.5-2.5wt.% of an aromatic compound bearing a phenolic hydroxyl in the form of alkali metal salt and a carboxyl group in the form of alkali metal salt respectively, preferably a compound of the formula (M is alkali metal; m, n are 1, 2) and (B) 0.1-2wt.% of an epoxy resin made from a polyhydric phenol and an epihalohydrin to (C) a polyethylene terephthalate resin.
